I was removing my tie rods today and notice some bright red coloured piping going into both intercoolers and was just wondering if that was normal. The intercoolers measure about 4"deep and 9" long.

Umm... can't seem to post a picture of the intercooler! The file is 64K. Surely that 's not too big?

Basically if the side end tanks are black plastic with holes in for the ducts, then they are stock, all after market ones have alloy end tanks on em.

I'd have to disagree, that's much bigger than a stock one. And it's got ally end tanks.

Yes it is an aftermarket intercooler! Nice one mate, saved yourself a few quid there!!

Thanks for the info guys. At least the intercoolers should partly off set the cost of a pair of turbos I'm probably going to need this year!
