idle + autobox prob

I have a na 91 auto which is idling at 2K this symptom comes and goes also the box is not changing up properly and I am getting a flashing power light.

 

The diagnostics I think are pointing towards a throttle position sensor, would a faulty tps account for both problems, the auto box problem also has come and gone over the last week.

 

Is there a technical page where I can view the tps setup + test procedure.

 

Apart from cleaning all the contacts is there any other servicable parts on a tps or is it a case of just junking it.
