All,

 

I have a problem with irratic tickover. The car is generally great but occasionally, it sits just under 2000rpm when idling. If I turn the heater off it drops to about 1600. All the rest of the time it sits at about 800 perfectly.

 

Strange one. I can't seem to put my finger on whether it's the weather or not. Am now keeping log !

 

Any ideas?

(and the revs do rise when you switch a/c on, as to why it is 2000 to start off with then read all above!)
