just coming back up the motorway and decided to gun it (up to 70mph of course) past these lorries. Foot down - boost kicks in then judder, engine managment seems to kick in throttle off, look very worried, gun again, engine judders and seems to hold back.

 

Could this be down to an incorrect setting on my TPS as I took it off yesterday to try on a mates car?

Yes, I'd say that was it :)

usually tsp, or temp sensor related. But it could be a number of things. I've had this before I'm sure of it.

 

I replaced the following:

 

MAS,

PTU,

O2 sensors,

Temp sensor and harness.

 

I should really have done one at a time but I decided to go the whole hog.

 

Clean all the connectors to TPS, MAS, PTU, Coil packs, CAS etc and hopefully this will sort it.

 

Also do an ECU diag to see what errors are thown up.
