just had the gearbox out to replace cpb at local garage,

was wondering if the gearlever can be put back on gearbox

at a different angle as mine seams to be a little more forward than last time drove it or am i imagining it:slap:

The lever has a bend in it and will go on either way round :(

So looks like it's been put on the wrong way!

 

I asked about this a while ago but I haven't fitted mine yet.

speak to Luke at the zcentre - he's done it loads of times

if the lever is coming off again treat yourself to a short throw job

luke has them at the zcentre , i bought mine second hand

( e bay is cool) wish id fitted one months ago what a difference

it makes to everyday driving .i can honestly recomend the expense its a great little mod

I was thinking about getting one of these - did you fit it yourself? If so, was it an easy job? Luke mentioned that there are some fiddly nuts involved :D
