Fuel Filter

After replacing the fuel filter (57,000 miles, (10 year old car - I dont know if its the original filter) I have noticed that the hesitation under hard acceleration is gone, and the acceleration seems better.

 

By the way, I first went to Halfords for the filter, the guy told me he could order one, would be £25! I asked him what would be the price without the free tank of petrol (he did not appreciate the humour) - I then went to Nissan dealer and bought it for £11.98, a pleasant surprise. Sometimes Nissan parts are not to bad in price.

    I found the same when I changed my fuel filter.

     

    Its worth doing every year or so any way. Its only £11.
