I've got no central locking currently. Have just replaced the relay inside the drivers door and still no joy. I am going to check the fuses (not even sure which one it will be) but will check them all.

There is a cable that runs inside the door from the internal catch to the locking mechanism. THis has broken but I can still lock and unlock the door from the key. Is this likely to affect the central locking?

ANy advice greatly appeciated. Door in bits and it's started raining.

Thanks,

Ice

same thing happened on my tranny van

could lock door with key but cenrtal locking stopped working

told on the van it is the cable can be sliced through when someone wants to breakin and if it is not double locked they can open the doors

don't know if it is the same on a 300zx

when I replaced the cable I also had to change the fuse as it blew when they cut the cable

Where is the fuse?

I don't have all of the fuses populated in the internal fuse box - is it one of these? Doesn't seem to be very well labelled.

Update: I have now fixed the locking mechanism. The rod had come off from inside the door. That is a bugger of a job! Anyway, there is a small box on the inside of the door under the lock itself. I suspect that this may be the culprit but there is no way to get it out (from what I can see).

So two things really.... Which fuse could it be and can I get at the little contraption!

Thanks again.

Heres the translation, the door lock is the same one as the interior light, bottom left in the pic.
