Right, abit of advice if you will.

Having finished the heater matrix, the second on my to do list this week is the bushes. I have a full set of poly bushes to go on and have two options:

A: D.I.Y., looks like a load of grief, and have the problem of getting the car off the deck and leaving it there while the job goes on

or

B: Pay someone to do it for me

Thoughts?

to much hassel and time

Hi

Front ones are very easy to get off & replace.

Any local engineers will press out and replace your fronts for £10. Unless you have a fly press at hand.

Dont know what the other ones are like!

Arthur

There are a few that are a nightmare to fit:

Rear subframe and diff ones: need to drop the subframe and strip it down then press them out, usually cut the second set of inner sleves then press them out. Need to make a puller to get the diff ones in too.

Front RHS Steering Rack one: Have to drop the subframe a bit to get to it and there are loads of pipes and stuff in the way.

The front ones are all pretty easy if the arms come off OK, although you do have to burn out the ones in the arm as the new ones re-use the old inner sleeve. Don't try tp press these or you'll squash the arm and ruin it.
