Can anyone tell me how to change my 93 300zx's airconditioner pump, I have the new one but I can't see how to get the old one off without stripping down the engine, Is it possible? any help would be appreciated...

 

Yup, it's possible. I've done it recently.

You have to remove the sway bar first and you need a lift of course.

There is one bolt on the rear, one on the front and

two on the bottom of the compressor (14mm).

There are two hoses on the top of the compressor, which

are held by one 10mm screw each.

I've done everything from below the car and didn't have

to touch anything from the top.

The most difficult was the bolt on the rear of the compressor but

overall this procedure is pretty simple.
