Evening all, hope you had a good xmas and are recoving nicely.

 

I got some good news over xmas - in August my mrs will be having our first baby. Any advice and tips welcome ;)

Dont be gettin rid of the 300 though, I got shut of my 260Z and bought my 300 when my little lad was born. Great move. Bit tight on gettin everything in, pram, baby bag etc, but it all goes and its worth keepin it!!

The idea is to sell the zed sooner rather than later, to save up some cash, though I don't know if they sell too well this time of year. But if you know anyone... ;)

 

I'll certainly stay on here, posting shit all the time :D Looks like I'll be getting an 1990/1/2 MR2 Turbo, if I can find a cheap one (

You are only gonna get £2000 left then. Why not save up? I hear the MR2 turbo are worse off on petrol, I bet the insurance is about the same and it doesnt have desent boot or rear seats. Also Cam Belt change is engine out job apparently. True the rear seats are not that big on a Z but plenty big to put a baby chair in there.

 

If you do get a MR2 stay away from the 1990/91, I heard somewhere the suspention is a little iffy

Stuart I agree - but in the missus' eyes the MR2 is cheap, lets keep her eys thinking (!) that way...its that or it's no weekend car ;) The mondeo is for baby chairs and buggies etc.
