A mate of mine will be starting work there soon. Just wondered whether they are supposed to be any good, or not ....

And I've already tried, no he can't get free samples or big discounts (yet) !

I'm told that the car unit is about £550.

Looks kinda handy ...

Ok here is what I believe to be the price list:

mStation for the car = £549 then you can buy a unit so that it can be added to your hifi at home (box, leads etc) for £119

mStation jukebox I am not sure about

portable hand held mStation is £349 (it is 20 Gig and I think you can get leads for your car etc)

I bought a laptop about 4 years ago for £150 (a slightly warm p166 with a 2.1gig hd) and wired it up to my car amps thru its line out socket.

It did something similar, shoulda patented the idea LOL smile.gif

Nice idea, but the iPaq battery lasts about 10 mins (joke), the device costs £400(?) and the 1 Gb drive costs £350.

Just jealous really because I haven't got one ...

I have just set up as a dealer for the M Station line of goodies, If you are interested let me know and don`t worry about retail prices!!

Bob m8,

Any news on the s5 snooper.

My right foot is getting heavier and heavier smile.gif

Nice one!

The most cost effective MP3 installation would be the Archos JukeBox. It's portable and can be easily installed I'm sure,. It has a 6Gig hard drive and the rechargable battery can last for ages. I'll be installing mine next month since I screwwed the CD player, d'oh.

I'll keep you all posted.

Van

Get an Empeg (Rio Car). They can't be beaten (ok they can, but only on price). Just ask Bob about how good these things are.

Andy

Do they have anti-jog techno. though? Just curious coz this is a computer HD and I would have thought these weren't the best for all those speed bumps...anyone know?

When I took the 120 squid Blaupunked back to Harrys last week and complained to the guy that fitted it, that it was skipping going over cats eyes! He proceeded to tell me that you have to spend well over 600 squid to get a CD player that won't skip going over small bumps in the road...WTF?

So why have I had 3 x Sony's that never skipped on me once then? One fitted in a Range Rover that used to play quite happily going up and down our old farm track every day? Bollocks more like!

Yeah, apparantly they do have anti-jog stuff, I think it said summat like a 40 second buffer. Also have just been told that the price for the car one is £499 no £549.

I have a fairly cheap 10 stack Kenwood in my Z and the only time that jumps is when the CD is knackered - and the Z suspension ain't the softest in the world !

I forgot to mention that the Archos MP3 portatble is only £250 and has 8hr battery life and 85secs anti-shock.

whats the price for the poratbel one?
