The boat could sink!!!!:D ;)

When I first got mine I remember asking a similar question, and I was told to open the bonnet, write down the part number of every part, then replace everything!!! lol

Zeds are unpredictable at best!!! But thats all part of the fun, so calm down and dont worry!!!;)

Sorry, hit return by accident and posted the above!

Anyway, back to it.

I am having my TT Zed impoted buy one of the more well known agents out there and have had all kinds of problems with the shipping. Not going on the boat it should have not once but twice has resulted in my car being left parked by the dockside, no doubt packed in with other cars like sardines.

By the time it gets here (it left Japan a couple of days ago) it would have been sitting about for 6 months or more!

So I know what I might expect, would anyone have any ideas to what sort of damage this could do to a high performance car like the Zed?

Many thanks,

Justin

Tyres which have been sitting for so long in one place could start to rot. You are better off changing your tyres when it gets he becuase A) they are illegal in this country B) Japanese tyres are very hard and dont grip well.

Hi Stu,

I knew the tyres are harder and not so grippy but thought thye were still legal in this country.

What else could go wrong with the car after this long standing?

Justin?

any petrol in it may have gone bad,

battery may have drained,

I doubt there anything will go seiously wrong, nothing that a good service wont' fix,

Cheers Mike,

Lets hope a service is all it will need.

I heard that the coolant should be flushed also as it can go stale and can really mess up the engine.

Anyone heard the same?
