Hi all - now the supe was nice and easy - pop the bonnet and you can see the air filter cone induction kit.

Where the hell is it on my zed?

it seems to be in front of the rad? do I have to take the panel off between the lights?

IF I need to get on do I order 1 or 2 kits - Ive seen the blitz induction kit on Z Centre for 140. Would I need 2 of these?

Cheers

Just one kit - should comprise of the cone, piece linking the cone to the MAF, jubilee clips and a bracket to stop the cone bouncing around.

Yep it goes under the headlamp panel :) All becomes obvious once the stock airbox (plus the skin off your knuckles ;) ) is off.

Indeed you are correct - pop the centre panel off and you will find the air box - you only need a single kit unless you are planning well over 500bhp but there are electrical mods you need to do when fitting a duel kit.

so, would the blitz induction kit give me noticeable increase in power?

Definately. Especially as you already have the aftermarket exhaust.

I had exhaust & decat when I bought the car - best 1/4mile time 14.35s

Then I fitted a second hand intake - best time 14.03s

A noticeable difference through the rev range.

Apexi had the best filtering in a test....do a search and you will find the results. Roughly the same horsepower gain as all the rest, I think.

I fitted the Cotton green kit, got it for £90 mail order.

Apexi is indeed supposed to be the best, I think Chris at GetGreddy (traders forum) sells them, not much over £100 so a good but to boot;)

The Z-centre one will have vat on top, so price over £160.

Richard:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I have the Blitz Suss - it's fine. You will notice greater throttle response.
