Number Plates

I am considering buying the number plate:

 

A 300X

 

i am buying this of a private individual who is asking £2500, in your opinions what would a fair price for this type of reg be as I feel this is quite steep.

 

Is there a market for this type of reg for fellow Z owners if i decided to sell?

 

I would appreciate your feedback before I make a bid.

    I would say that is too much. £1500ish. The trouble with cherished plates is that they are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. Call a few cherished number dealers and get some advice on how much they think its worth.
