As above, anyone know the output/wattage of original (non-bose) front speakers??

I think only the yank spec got the bose stuff!! I hope theyr'e not, as that means a total re-wire I think!!

25w one-way hitachi speakers came out of my front doors...

Paul mate, It's all ways better to rewire the speakers if you intend to up rate the out-put. The standard wireing is quite small

so go for something larger.

belive me if you dont you'l wish you did..

i've just (today) taken out 25w hitachi speakers out front, well blown too, along with standard nissan/hitachi radio/tape and cd.

I'm only uprating to probably 80w (max) 2 way front speakers and 150w (max) 3 way rears running from a JVC head unit, no ICE/amp etc... just wanted to improve the sound a little, surely original wiring should be OK for this??

Stock J spec are paper coned crap, the previous owner of mine seems to of replaced mine with non paper coned crap instead!!

 

I will have to upgrade to some slightly better crap i suppose, just to follow tradition!!!:D
