Just popped to the local Tescos. Haven't driven the car over the last couple of weeks until I replaced the heater core (and it wasn't giving me much happiness after that job!)

Anyway, went in to do my shopping and then walked back to my car. A family had just parked next to me in their Dad's shiny new Celica. (Doesn't do anything for me but dad was obviously proud of it!).

I had to wait a bit while their little boy got out of the back seat so I opened my car with my zapper while I waited. The little boy must have only been about 7 years old and he stopped in amazement at my old Nissan and said in the most excited voice, "WOW! Dad, what car is that?".

"It's a Nissan 300zx", replied dad, under his breath.....well done dad...

Anyway, just goes to show, my car is almost 14 years old and still gets a good reception.

Just thought I would share that with the rest of you!

Yup, sure does make you feel proud.

The Zed always draws attention, for all the right reasons.

The other morning, when it was sunny, I drove to work with the targas off. I was sitting in a line of cars at traffic lights behind a Boxster when a load of school kids (girls too, not that I'm a perv:rofl: ) were crossing the road between the cars. A small group of 6 girls and boys came past me staring at the car, nodding in approval. One boy said, "cool car, mate nicer than the one in front...."

Zeds rool:dance:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Get it all the time

Geoff.

My car was parked in Tescos carpark and I parked it front first so I had to reverse out.

Anyways while walking back to my car, there was a woman with 2 young children, a girl about 9 and a boy about 6. The boy was running up the car park, like what young boys do. He was running along the back of all the parked car until he came to mine.

He just stopped and stared motionless straight at the back of my car until his mum caught up and dragged him away. And even then he kept turning around looking at it.

Sounds stupid, but its the moments like that which makes it all worth while. :D
