I thought it wa sa bit of a mad idea having the sidelights in the fogs, anyway I went and looked (in the day) and I couldnt see any light from them. But anyway I was polishing the inside in the dark and i turned the lights on to see what it was like with the instruments lit up, and I saw a little reflection on the garage door. So I got out, and looked, and there WAS LIGHT! A very dim blue light comign out of the fogs, YAY! I think it needs new bulbs though, cos its SO dim!

While your at it change the jap 35W fog bulbs to normal UK 55W ones if it's an import.

Before I did mine the fogs were more like the sidelights.

This is all assuming you have an import...

The sidelight bulbs are only a couple of quid each at Halfords - you'll have to take a bulb in to compare as from memory they are not listed in their guide on the shelf.

Swap the fog bulbs to 55W versions as on the UK car - I bought the 30% brighter versions and they are certainly better but cost more (about £10 or £20 each - can't remember)

While you have the fog lights apart you can remove the diffuser/glare guard to make 'em even brighter!

If you haven't removed the fogs before you may do as i did and try to turn the screw in the fog light - this is just an adjustment for the light pattern!

To access the fogs you remove the indicators and then reach behind the fogs and remove 3 nuts from the back. (I think this is different on UK/later models but you'll soon find out)

As for headlight bulbs....

I'm not even going to go there!
