whats the verdict on the mitshubishi brakes mod

i know they look well cool

 

thinking of going for it myself!!

 

dont do this at home but i have drilled my own disks!!!!

havnt tried it yet but not planing to stay with them long just a trial really,

I always thought the holes were cast:confused:

AFAIK the only ones that are cast are the Movit/Porsche, all the rest are drilled.

well I haven't done many miles since I put them on but probably only a couple of hundred but there is a big difference , the main one being no brake fade at all , normally after a few stamps on the brake pedal I have major fade where as this has completely dissapered

 

All in all well worth it in my honest opinion

 

Taking a long drive up to SE this weekend , they will be properly bedded in by then so will report back over the weekend when I have given them some real stick

I was running std zed brakes on my s13 with greenstuff pads and have just fitted some 315mm BMW M3 discs using the zed calipers (and some brackets) with mintex 1155 pads and they are awesome in comparison.

Where did you source the disks from mate? Found these... are they the right size?

Not that good a price Jonny the DBA discs that I used were only £150 for the pair

but that I presume is 'cos they are cross-drilled, the standard discs they advertise are for £165..
