speaking of headlights, I have perfectly fine dipped lights, but when I switch to full beam it just goes dark (ie no lights at all!)

Is this just bulbs or something more sinister - and as it's an import, which bulbs to I need to buy as replacements?

(and sorry for whizzing this thread off at a tangent! - honest!)

Do your sidelights stay on?? If they do...

First thing to do is get soeone to switch dipped - full beam while you listen for relay click (relay box front passenger side of engine bay).

If there's no click - relay fooked, or possibly fuse gone.

If it is the bulb, it takes standars H1's, but it would probably be worth shelling out for PIAA super bright jobbies!!

Replacing main beam is fiddly but not difficult.
