Check out picture in my rides section guys.

Special offer on a new FULL COMPLETE A- pillar trim, with pre moulded in gauge pods, these can be in anysize, 1 pod or 2 or 3 and are the dogs nuts, for the grand total of £65.00 + postage. Simple to fit, you keep your existing 1 incase you sell ya mota but wanna keep gauges, the whole thing makes itlook like a standard piece of trim, looks far better than any Greddy screw on pod cup and actually be cheaper if you go for a double cup, let me know guys, Smithy

p.s picture is not from a Zed.

Do you also have the triple/double cups for LHD-cars ?

No probs Eric, left hand, right hand what ever ya want, also looking at a few other ideas will keep ya all posted, These are the first EVER to be done for a Zed like this, hope to sell to the twin turbo.net guys too. 50% deposit required, delivery end of the month, thereafter 10-14 days.Smithy

the pic makes them look as if the guages will be facing the roof of the car.

Don't panic boys, like i said the car in the piccie isn't a Zed and it's the angle the photo was taken, also the emphasis of the photo is to show how pods are part of A-pillar moulding. The company who manufacture these sat in a Zed and positioned the pods on loosly before making a mould up.Smithy

it does look very nice, and i would be keen.

what size gauges fit in there?

  • Author

Hmmmmmmmm!!

Like i said you can any size. i.e 52mm or 60mm as most decent gauges are 60mm i suppose that will be the most common, but the choice is yours, so empty ya pockets at this price it's a snip, Smithy

sorry to lazy to reread your post lol

I'm very interested in a double 52mm cup.

But I would like to see pictures of the A-pillar in a Z first.

(prototype pictures maybe ?)

Bit hard that one, cos they won't be made until i get a few buyers,(just 3 more) all i can say is that it will be the same as the one in the picture but on a Zed A-pillar trim, the idea of the piccie is to show the quality of the moulding and see how the pods blend in, go on,go on,go on,go on,go for it

Smithy,

Did you ever get any pics of the 300 pillar trims?

Vijay

  • Author

Vijay, no pics available simply because i am having the manufacture make the trims for me, they have never been made before for the 300zx, picture in my rides section shows though excactly what they look like, my order goes in next week for 10 of them, so if your interested let me know. Smithy

they do look nice but i dont know what they would be like, if they were at that angle u wouldnt be able to see them sitting in the low down Z

  • Author

Like i said before boys, that picture is not a zed, it's purely to show you the quality of how the pods are moulded into the A-Pillar trim, before the Zed ones are made up the moulder sits in my Zed and angles loosely pods on the trim, this then removed and a complete new mould is made up, 1st of Sept is day for 1st batch being made, twin 52mm pod trims, Smithy, I.O.M
