Coming back from Scotland LMFAO

On the way back from Knockhill at the weekend I was heading down the A1 towards the English border (single carriageway 60 limit) in very heavy rain when I noticed a metallic blue Nissan Almera GTI up my arse.

Anyone who has driven the upper A1 will know there are speed cameras every few hundred yards so I was sticking to the limit though mainly due to the weather.

This guy just had to get past me no matter what and he nearly went head on into 2 trucks so I was thinking what a wanker.

Next time he tried to get past on a long straight he got a good run up but I floored it and left him standing in the middle of the road. Did this 2 more times and he was looking most upset!

My radar detector started telling me of a Gatso ahead so being polite I slowed a little to let the guy past! LOL

He overtook me at 90 ish straight through the flashing camera as I slowed to 60! He He!

Gave him a flash and a honk to congratulate him! LMFAO biggrin.gif

What a major LEO!

he could have been a doctor on a house call lol

Wow.

Chris,

What detector do you have?

I am thinking of getting one, not becuase I speed often and much over the limit, just because you can easily get caught going to places you have never been.

Why am I justifying my self. Im a mad fooker and I dont want to get caught. Hehehehe

Any way. What detector is it. Would you recomend it or do you know an others just as good?

I've got a Bell 980 and very happy with it.

There are a couple of better ones out there but they are far more cash.

I think mine was replaced by the 990 and the current one appears to be the Euro 550 which is far better suited to the UK than most of the US models around. It still annoys me having to read Highway on the display every day instead of Motorway!

I can recommend a company called Networx Automotive in Lanarkshire.

Send an e-mail to networx.ltd@dial.pipex.com and request a copy of their "Radar Update" newsletter. It's got everything available for evading cameras including the Geodesy and they will do trade ins on older equipment. It's full of usefull info on police tactics, legal cases and how all the systems work. Highly Recommended and delivered free to your door every few months.

Tel: 01555 666 444

They specialise in this stuff and I've bought a couple from them with very prompt service.
