My zed will not demist no matter what setting i put it on, cant get any air to windscreen,tried every setting, what could it be broke electrics or mechanical??

Are you pressing the front windscreen blower button? its the one next to the Auto button. If it is not working, it could be the motors in the heater not closing and opening shutters to direct the air.

Yes i have tried every button/combi/ac that can be done & still no air out front vents, sounds like it could be them motors you were on about, is it expensive/ hard job??

No idea. Depends how deep the motors and flaps are.

I would be happy to get it on the screen & not the other settings, so maybe it could be jammed on screen & no where else.

One possible thing to try is check the ducting under the steering column area (needs a panel removing) there are two seperate ducts here , one for the door and one for the dash vents, if either of these are missing or the electrical connection to the sensors on them are not connected the air con system will not work correctly.

 

Failing that if someone close to you has a ConZult ask for them to do an air con check as the flap/door angle`s, motor operation and temp sensors can be checked without taking it all apart.
