Right Chris and Stu have organised a trackday for early next year and the response has been...for want of a better word "moribund"

 

Come on lads and lasses - this is a great chance to test your car out on the track and have a brilliant meet at the same time...I dont care if its "not running perfectly" etc :rolleyes: - I've NEVER done it before and will be purely learning, but what a great day it will be! :cool:

 

PM or email Chris@Get GReddy or SRRAE and put your name down for this top day, newbies and regulers - theres space left.

I'm in, and it'll be the first track day in a car for me (execpt bruntingthorpe and that was in my mate's erm sierra cosworth)

My excuse is that my car is designed purely for cruising. That and im to scared to rip the **** out of her on a track as it might make me have to spend more on her.

 

Also it probably wont be ready in time.:D

It is in 4 months. What are you going to do which will take more than 4 months?

 

The car is not made for cruising, otherwise they wouldnt have put the top speed of it over 170mph.

Nah iv got a tendancy to get quite aggresive when im racing. I dont wanna make my car end up on the gravel/grass and damage the paintwork as the car aint gonna be cheap to respray.

 

Yeh i know there designed to go well fast but my finances are going higher and higher alot faster. Im in 6k debt and i cant afford for anything else to go wrong and taking it to the track with me driving is just asking for it. Sorry guys but my car is just for posing in. Iv had enough of speed for the meanwhile. Im more than willing to pop down and see how every1 else does but my car is staying on public roads only. :p

It's a bit too far for me - over 400 miles round trip and I'm limited to 4000 miles a year on the insurance. :( :(

 

I would have loved to have a go on the track though. Sounds like it'll be a great day! :D :D :D I'll just have to wait for a more local opportunity...

 

Still doing the RR in January though (200 miles round trip :rolleyes: )

Id be up for this, but i am going on a business trip 1 weekend in March and am not sure which weekend it is. I will know nearer the time, like January? Will there still be places by January?
