Just took the car for its Mot and it failed on bad tyres and N/S/F shock absorber. Where can i get the front shock and whats the likely price? Anybody have a second hand decent one?

Dont use second hand shocks! Some people might disagree but i would never do it! Would never replace just the one either. Just my opinion. But if its just to pass the MOT..

But seriously, I think they have the rear ones for £30 each on the Zed Centre web site.

yeah the rear ones are 30. dont know bout fronts.

 

try andy z, he'll probably have some, if you choose to get second hand ones.

Seriously, the Nissan rears are really cheap but not the case with the fronts. I would certainly go for some aftermarket jobbies for not much more money.

I just changed one shock for MOT, got a complete second hand shock n spring from jeff, only took 45 mins to fit and got MOT the next day. I have seen some gas shocks on ebay for the Z. Do a search...........300zx shocks, tick the box items available to uk.

They are approx £160 +pp for a full set of front and rears.

If anybody knows whether they are S**t please let me know.
