Every time you post on here you are just re-enforcing an already stereo-typical view on Turbo Rover drivers.

Whats that then?

And everytime you reply you make yourself look even more stupid..

Oh and the part about they are driven by old men, one of your lot admitted that they are.

Tell you what too. Goto the RX-7 forum and tell them that you think your Rover will keep up with them. I think they need a laugh.

Oh come one people, You are ganging up on me now. Lets make it fair. Go get another 3 of your friends and then the sum of your I.Q.s would be closer to mine.

lah lah lah. yep, im really old. 22 old enough for you?

Hahahahahahaha.

You sound like a little kid when you said that.

I grew of out telling people, unprompted, how old I was when I was 8.

yeah and you are still yet too.

Im not being funny but i think you some what underestimate a light car with a pretty powerful engine in. Why do you feel the need to slag rovers off? For the price nothing comes close and i enjoy being the under dog. Cheap to run and maintain also

300ZX's are certainly beasts and I like them quite a lot, bit big for me and I'd imagine they cost a lot to run.

I pulled up next to some lights in my 220 Turbo next to a bright yellow RX7 with blue and Black alloys. He starts revving it, so i oblige. This was on a nice dry day and off the line he had a 1/2 car length on my by the end of first gear. Even with the Torsen differential which helps off the line they can't match Rwd cars. However once rolling the low transmission losses makes them very quick and i had caught and gone past halfway through 3rd gear when i backed off as the road was busy up ahead.

I also went past one on a recent track day at donnington. As well as numerous other cars.

No rovers arent the fastest thing on the road and certainly not the best build, etc etc, blah blah. But for the money mine has cost me i don't think there is much that comes close.

Sorry if this bores you but i dont think its right to write off a car just because of its image.

Go smilie_home.gif :D

I went to donny ages ago, there was a yellow tomcat racer that was beating 300bhp scoobies all day. Even the driver said he was amazed.

SSRAE - if you're so mature, you'd stop being childish and fighting back ;)

You show me where I called the Rover Turbo? If you read, I was going to get one but I found the people I asked on the internet about it, the feed back was not very helpful, from people who owned the car. They are powerful they are quite fast, did I say there where not?

Hmm, very interesting theory there?

I think it's more to do with the rover drivers not wearing these big meddalions and chest wigs like you guys, surely these slow cars down.

Hmmm who started it?

Sorry i didn't read too much of the earlier posts.

About 3 years ago there was no real online community, only the mynheer forum which was useless. Nowadays there's a lot more info out there.

Listen "m8" i'm as pro as you'll find, but am also an owner as well who posts as a private user as well as a trader. I contribute a fair whack to bandwidth costs which IMO your wasting

I cant remember where it was. All I remember was the page was black with dark blue writing on it. It was more of a what you think of your car site and not a Rover site.

As for the medalion and chest wig thing!!!!!

My chest hair is real! ;) I dont need wigs!

No, there are 1 or 2 people on here who are medalion people.

Where is Mr BeeGee anyway?

Just read this for the first time and I cant stop PMSL!!

Are you rover boys that insecure that you have to scour t'internet looking for people being all mean to rovers, so you can get defensive and spout such balanced to$$ as "if I spent £9,000,000 on my tomcat turbo it would easy beat a stock RX7"

NO SHIT SHERLOCK!!!:slap:

What the fook is the point of going onto other sites and arguing the toss?

Is our opinion so important to you?

Get a fooking life for fooks sake:rolleyes: :slap: :slap: :xxx:

Amen to that Brother Amen
