Finished training tonight and whilst on the way home on the A38(dual lane carriadge way) 2 trucks stayed side by side for about 2 miles. It wasn't a steep hill and they were doing about 60-65.

I tried flashing my lights but nothing. Anyone else have any suggestions, other than strapping a couple of rocket lauchers to my car!

bide your time, get in front then slow down to 40 :D

hehe yeah, fluctuate your speed wildly while in front of them, you know, down to 20mph, up to 60, back down again, will really get the truck driver pissed off :D

Its even better when you know that trucks are limeded to about 65 mph!!!

If they were doing 65mph, then they were only small trucks I guess as artic's and anything over 7.5tonne are limited to 56mph.

Small trucks are often driven by people with only car license's and are scum. And dangerous too.

Having a LGV1 license myself the thing that can really get a lorry driver going is slow him down on a hill, and then wizz off leaving him with 16 gears to play with.

Nope - were full on big jobbies with lots of wheels, moving cabin and were very tall. Infact, I think on eof them had Worthington Creamflow advertised on it.

You should've seen the state of the truck that ballsed-up my journey to work on the A40 this morning! It normally takes about 30 mins, this morning was 2.5 HOURS!

Apparently two BMW's were racing in the early hours, lost control, clipped a truck and caused a MAJOR BIG BANG!

Lorry driver dead (cab DESTROYED) and both BM drivers charged with "Causing death by dangerous driving"

Sad morning for someone:(

but one less truck on the roads!

they should get freight back onto trains and canals where it belongs and leave the roads for ME!

I think you lot should have a go at driving an artic. you might learn something. I`m not saying that all lorry drivers are good cus most of them are fookin tossers.

Dont mess lorry drivers about!! Me and my mates did this back in our boy racing days, three bhs lorries ended up boxing us in andslowing us to about 10mph for the next two miles, and its fookin scary when youre boxed in front back and to the right by the fookin things!!!

Having said that id say 90% of lorry drivers are good, love the way they show courtesey with their indicators if you flash them out etc, wish car drivers would!!!
