Battery light

Just to confirm that im not going mad, can any one tell me, when your ignition is switched to the on position, but not started, does your battery warning light illuminate, because mine dont. I have checked the charge system which is now fine, but this light is really starting to get me at it!!!!

All i have lit up is the hicas, handbrake and door warning lights, is this right???

    Thanks Pete, but no, had the dash out, checked the bulbs, and they are all ok, got a feeling that there is still a fault with my alternator, and its sending the wrong signal to the bulb.

    Back to the drawing board!!!!:cry: :cry:
