Every time I switch the ignition on, the time on my clock is different! I mean changed! but not to the correct time, if you see, what I am trying badly to explain!!!!!!

I have read the thread about changing the resistors for clocks that are dim, my clock is not dim, it lights up ok.

And I do not want to replace it with dials!

Has anyone else had this problem or have I got gremlins in there?

Any suggestion welcome.

Arthur

Sounds like it has been wired up wrong at some time or another or its losing its feed from the batter when you turn the ignition off.

If it was losing its live feed wouldn't it reset to the same time every time the ignition was turned off ? i.e 12:00

Arthur, mine does this also, so you're not alone.

Arthur send it to AndyP he has a cracking strike rate at repairing these, only charges around £10;)

If it's resetting to 12:00 everytime then it's almost certainly a power supply problem, so you'll need to look into that or get an auto electrician to sort it for you. If it comes up with a random time I may be able to fix it, although that does seem an unusual problem.
