Hi,

There are loads of makes and should be easy to fit, routing the cable through the firewall is probably the annoying bit.

All the top names, Greddy, Apex-i and so on all seam to cost a good $200-$300, I finally got an autometer gauge beacuse they're a lot cheaper ($30-$50) and still do a good job.

I acutally just ordered one from www.summitracing.com, beware the handling and postage charges ($20+$20).

A 20psi max one for stock turbos is just right, have too much range and you don't see the needle move.

The one I ordered went up to 30psi, but it had no negative boost so I get a huge movement. They should all come back lit with most of the cable required.

Cat no. ATM-5404.

But will someone please tell me why my GReddy boost gauge (at £250 a pop) will only read 0.5 bar.. the car feels really fast but according to mister GReddy Krueger im in safety boost.

I wish I could get this quandry sorted frown.gif

Andy, get a message to him will you, tell him not to start any major work 'till I'm there...LOL! Cheers.

Glen,

Assuming there isn't a calibration problem with the gauge, it's probably an air leak somewhere. Not sure if your gauge is electronic or mechanical. If electronic then the will be between the point where it comes from the intake through to the sensor. If mechanical then anywhere up to the gauge itself.

It will be difficult to test as it'll probably only be a problem on high boost. It'll sound like a high pitched whistle or a hiss. You might find it easier to find the problem if you wet all the pipe connections and look for bubbles as someone tries to get the boost up by accelerator depressions.

Hope it's of some help.

Dave
