I get drivers side tyre scrubbage on full lock and on a sudden uphill, and my front looks slightly lower than my rear.

I'll be changing my 245 fronts to 235 which should help with the turning scrubbage.

Do the suspension springs wear and sit lower over time? Would changing the shockers help too?

Anyone got price for front Jap shockers and springs please? :) I only want stock.

Cheers people ;)

Hello Pete,

Luke at the Z Centre does the shocks for £35 each I think. Yes the springs will sag, I know mine old springs sagged about an inch. The wheel scrubbish could be caused my your tension rod bushes IIRC.

Thanks Vijay - ooh I've got a Hyperflew poly bush kit to go on which I think includes tension rod bushes.

Its the rears that are £35. Fronts are alot dearer and when I found out it was cheaper to go aftermarket iirc.

My springs had sagged by about an inch and one of the rear ones was even worse, meaning the car didn't sit level.

I fitted Blitz lowering springs with Koni's and it doesn't really look any lower than it did but it certainly handles 10 times better. Definately makes the car look a lot better than stock UK Z's I've seen too.

So if you fit stock springs your car will probably be an inch or so higher than it is now!

An inch higher would be good as they are too low now - it rubs with 17s....

Yeah I notice the ones for £35 are rears.

Cheers

Would be about £300 plus then you need to add shipping and customs etc

but Nissan UK rear shocks alone costs pover £270.

I bought KYB adjustables for £330 including delivery and taxes from the states last year (that was for front and rears)
