As a lot of people on here are in IT could you help. I'am trying to put a mpg on a website i've been running for a while. The problem is i can download it using Explorer but when I download it using Netscape it won't play

Here's an uneducated answer;

 

Netscape is Poo and not many people use it.

 

Explorer is better and everyone uses it.

 

Netscape does not have the add-ons that Explorer has, Flash, DirectX 9.0 (or whatever they got upto now) Media Player and other gubbins....

Can't you use FTP with a recognised FTP client - that way there is less opportunity for Micro$oft to stick thir clumsy feet in it.

I have been using Netscape for years can't stand Explorer.

 

Yes, I know I'm a difficult bugger being a Mac user but if I can avoid lining the pockets of Satans right hand man aka Bill 'fu**in' Gates then I'll suffer bad code!
