I have told you about the hissing noise from the fuel pump area I get every now and then. A little like the sound when you open a bottle of pop or a little like a BOV.

 

Well its done it once or twice when I have been driving. Is this normal?

Its not a whine and it is not all the time. It happens only every now and then, but its done it while I was driving now too. Its very much like the noise from taking the fuel cap off. Lasts for a bout a second but its louder, and then nothing.

 

The Z fuel pump makes a slight buzzing noise anyway and its done that for the 3 years I have had it.

 

I hope its not about to pack in.
