225 or 245?

Just acquired Momo Arrows 8.5" for front....

(10" for rear.)

Existing 235.40 need changing.

225.40 or 245.35?

Why?

Thanx.

Hi Simmo

I take it your wheels are 18 inches, if so your best bet would be 235/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear.

You could also go up to 265/35/18 if your pockets allow, may not be too different in price

HTH:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

hmm, is that right about the rear's ? I had 10" on my last car and 255 were a little narrow, I put 285's on them.

But I agree, I also had 8.5" on the front and 235's were ideal.

I should have said 18". Oops.

This the set that I bought from AD in the FS section.

Rears have 265.35 and have plenty of tread. (One wheel may

be useless - very badly kerbed.)

Fronts were supposed have 4/5mm tread but not true;

one is about 3mm and the other illegal - canvas showing.

I have a pair of 225.40.18 and a pair of 245.35.18 in

stock.

Either 225 on 219 rims or 245 on 219 rims (or get

rid of both pairs and buy 235.40.18)
