OK, have finally managed to contact Chris at G-Force Motoring in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and have the following details for all who wish to go on a Rolling Road.

Date is from at least 7th February next year, as they are booked up till then, probably best to avoid booking an RR day on the 14th February, for obvious reasons. :D ;)

So, if we say 7th February, we need a minimum of 12 cars to make this viable and can have up to 30.

N/A Zeds are £35 each inc Vat

TT Zeds are £40 each inc Vat.

Payment can be made on the day, chqs payable to G-Force Motorsport.

A little more expensive but these guys are highly recommended. Also, as this is the price regardless of how many Zeds attend, suggest that it can be open to all - members and non-members alike. :)

They would also like at least one standard Zed in order to be able to set up the machines purely for our cars.

They advise that you check your tyre pressures, oil / water levels and coolant before the RR day. They will also check these on the day, to make sure that the possibility of damage is reduced.

So - who's interested for the 7th February? Or is there a more preferable date?

List of names, please. :)

I was going to suggest them, they are more expensive than normal, but then the dynapack is renowned for its accuracy, used by many of the top tuning garages over the world. If you look mkivsupra.net had a dyno day there.

I think a dyno with them is £60 a go. But they do 15% group discounts.

I am up for this

Dont mind being next to baggins, if you become infectious just by getting close to adam or his mum, that knocks out everyone north of watford. (wont have a word said against his missus tho, lovely girl, the good lord only knows what shes doing with him)

the supra guys paid 50 quid a go on their day.

i'm interested in a RR day, missed the last one witha dead engine again!

I'm up for it but only if it's more central. The one in coventry with the Dynopak sounds great!

Im intersted, and my car is stock. Well has a K&N filter but thats it :-)

Alastair.

I'd be up for Thor also

Well it seems Thor could be a popular choice then, not way down south and not way up north, it's about as in the middle as we'll get it and with a company who appear to know their stuff, gees they even made reference to the problem between auto's and manuals on the rollers, must be a first :D don't suppose as head honcho Ajay yer fancy seeing what they can do mid Feburay for us ?

cheers

smithy:cool:

i might make an appearance of its at thor. Note that from what i can remember they can only run about 15 cars a day though.

Count me in:cool: ,and will Chris be arranging for Banzai to come along for a shoot still:) ;)

Okey...Looks like it's going to be Thor Racing. Will find out today what they can do for us.

Ok, have just spoken to Thor Racing and we've agreed a date of 24th January next year.

Price is £50 all inclusive per car if we get up to 15 cars.

Between 15 - 20 cars, the price drops to £45 per car.

More than 20 is apparently not feasible due to time restraints and people wanting to go home.

I've put a thread in Events here, please add your name if interested.

Thanks.

I'm up for another RR day, but is £40-50 the sort of price you'd expect for eg a half hour long tuning session and not just an a queue of cars giving outputs?
