Well, I've already stated my views on these ... if the final product is embarassing/tacky/childish etc. then they can always come off, can't they?

In the meantime, bathe in my glow, suckers!! :D:D:D

I do draw the line at washer jets etc, though - honest! :)

neons rock when done properly look at the skyline in 2f2f going over the bridge its the dogs

anyone found with neons on a zed should be banned from here IMO! :slap:

NOOOOO!

That should be a crime punishable by toenail extraction with pliers!!

What TVR is it? An old wedge I hope, would hate to think that anyone who'd spent 'proper' money on a TVR would stoop that low.

Tim

its a chimera? and i gotta race him in a couple of weeks whats my chances boys?:D

Depends which one it is, if it's a 4ltr then I think it'll be equally matched a 4.5 will be quicker than a standard Zed by a long chalk and a 5ltr will wipe the floor with you in a straight line...

Mine's a 5ltr and it's quick, bloody quick :D

I'll kick both your a*ses in the twisties :p :D

And as regarding the Neon Lights, they are more gay than BigRoy, which is no mean feat....:D :p :D

Don't be a wally Mac, you know me well enough.

From my personal experience my Zed is a quick car, but the torque and acceleration in the TVR is unbelievable.

I think the difference is that I still have my Zed, its uncomparable to the TVR, they are both sports cars but different is so many ways.

What should be remembered is the power to weight difference between the two, a standard UK Zed is approximately 180bhp/tonne whereas the TVR is 307bhp/tonne.

A question was asked as to how he'd get on head-to-head with a Chimaera, I answered, having driven examples of all three, common, derivatives. I'm not getting into a 'my dad's bigger than your dad' argument, I'm just relaying the facts, as I see them. Oh, and yes, the zed would probabally be quicker through the twisties as the TVR is no where near as 'sorted' chassis wise as my old Elise or perhaps a zed with decent shocks etc, but there are £1300 of Nitrons in the pipeline that might redress the balance. ;)

Tim,don't be a plonker mate you know me well enough to know I am having a laugh:rolleyes:

However on a serious note I am spending more on my engine than Roy paid for his Poora,I guess that makes me officially Insane;)

I am still sure I can kick a 5 litre TVR up the arse when she is ready and if she holds together;)

Can i have a Spin in her when shes done then Mac:D

On the subject of 'NEONS' I was parked up near the local barry boy's meet in the summer watching a few loons spinning around their modifed crates, when a guy pulled up next to me in an impreza with blue neons under the sills and bumpers. We started chatting and after about 5 mins a police car pulled up and asked him to get into their car. I sat talking to his mate and when they let him back out they'd given him a £60 fine for showing BLUE light from his car!!!

He was PARKED FFS....

The police had told him if they'd been a different colour they wouldn't have bothered. Aparently it's "illegal" to show blue light on your car.

Still it's good to know our taxes are being spent well..

Don't have a problem with that. Quite legitimate as I see it. Showing blue lights on a vehicle is reserved for the emergency services.
