todays find

looked at me standard exhaust today and well its not . 4 tail pipes with fgk or fck main factory stamped on them. this car is full of little surprises gonna check the airbox next:D

Featured Replies

you wanna get rid of that standard airbox soon!

when you look at it you'll see how much it restricts the air flow!

wack an after market air filter on (i recommend blitz)

you'll notice a slight change under hard acceleration!

Hey steve, your insurance company is really going to love you !!!

There's no way you have a stock airbox fitted if you've got a custom ECU, dials and exhaust!

The intake is one of the cheapest and first bits that will have been changed.

poxy standard air box with nissan filters  chock full of dirt can you believe it:confused:

Yes i can , whats seemed to be happening to your car , has happened to some one else i know ,,,is that at one time or another your car was /did have all these bits on it and was tuned up big time ,,,but someone has removed some of the performance bits and fitted std parts back on the car , when it was sold,on,,so as to your post ,,,"wft" don`t tell your insurance company yet until you find out just what you actually have under the bonnet.

But with :-

With no boost controller =>std boost?

+

std air box=>restricted air flow? (thats silly)

+

re-mapable ECU =>std program? (could be)

+

Although you have a good base to start to modify and reasonably cheap now to do it,,,lucky sod:dance:
