Both of these exhausts looks nice (HKS is cheaper). BUT....does anybody have any recommendations? The price isn't a concern, but is the Blitz (realize TT) exhaust the better of the two?

 

I've heard the HKS is of dubious build quality...

What I'm after is a single pipe (each side) exhaust that sounds beefy, looks beefy and fits through the read bumper sold by Hiteq / Zcentre.

Hi,

Luke at the Z Centre makes his own 'Scarab' exhausts, which are made to fit the rear bumpers that he sells.They are stainless steel, and have single 4" chrome tips.

I had this system on my NA and it was quite loud..but then I didn't have turbos or cats to supress the noise!(I did get stopped by the Police once, due to the noise!he he)

INVO Auto do Titanium exhausts but only for civics but you may be able to modifiy them to fit, but that would mean £480 per back box.

Trust (or Greddy if you're american) Power Extreme, sounds the absolute dogs bollocks.. has got the usual crackle around 2.5k but from 3.5k upwards starts howling and 7k hard noise in 3rd going under an overbridge.. yeaaaaaahhhhaaaa... seriously I nearly go soooo many tickets in my first week with the power extreme. And the crackling banging and pops on overrun with TCS helping just make it all the more fun

Apexi are quite good. Only disadvantage depending on your point of view is the tailpipes at 5" each. Looks like the booster rockets on the space shuttle stuck under the back of the car.

Still the child in me opens the window just to hear that sound in multi storey car parks and underpasses.
