I have recently purchased a 1990 import 2+2 TT and want to replace the rear bumper with a UK one to avoid the square number plate. Could anyone point me to the best/cheapest place place to find a new replacement?

Other than the bumper, i am really pleased with the car and this web site looks very informative for new owners of the ZX like myself.

I would say the best place would probably be

Scrap yards or Luke and the Z club. Or go after market.

You dont wanna know how much a new Nissan one would cost , trust me !

I take it from that response that a Nissan replacement is well over £500 + !

Anyway, thanks for your advise i will have a scout around at the scrappies.

Cheers

Also check exchangeandmart.com or .co.uk. Do a search for the 300zx in the parts section and a list of breakers currently breaking Z's will appear.

What's so bad about a square number plate. Mines the car in the Logo thread, the black one. It looks better with a personal plate. This puts my initials at the bottom and looks great IMO. Simon P
