Having have my faith in human nature restored by my lost keys being handed back to me the other day, I was gutted to go out to my car today after work to find 2 of my metal dust caps knicked by some scally Coventry kids.

I'll be checking the bike of every kid I see in the neighbourhood as and when I see em, first one with red metal dustcaps is getting a slap.

Will have to get a set of the locking ones that we sell at work now.

Its a sad state of affairs when you have to lock up your frigin dustcaps!!!

Hope the little fecker falls of his (or her since girls are just as bad today! ) bike and breaks a limb.

With a damaged hand they won't be able to nick bits of cas for a while:D

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Unfortunately there not just in Coventry, there all over the F***g place. Had my dust caps nicked a few weeks ago and they left me with one, my wife’s car got broken in to by damaging the door and to top it all they broke in to my garage.

If you ask me, we have too many do gooders, when I was a kid I wouldn't even go near a car.

Yeah happened to me. seems that they disappeared in motorway service station!

Geoff.

Scoobynet is doing a group buy on locking valve caps for a fiver, have a look on their board I think ???

Olly.

Taking the Z to my mechanic saturday:cry: and what did i notice, one of my Z caps that i got of Courtesy site has gone, now theres no way they could of got ot,was done up tight with the small locking spanner,if they did then they were hellish quick and clever,i have a feeling it worked it self loose and fell off, either way now got to get another set,:(

My car has been fine for months then all of a sudden drive to Colchester and 2 go missing about a month later the other to went. Little ba***rds.

Talking about the locking ones my brother had some off these fitted but they got seized on and could get off especially being locking(maybe he should have checked pressures every week).

My new idea is to just get little black plasic ones and spray them nice colour to match. ;)

Further to this, I caught two little sh1ts with their hands on the other two today, yet when i grabbed them they were very keen to grass their mate up to me for knicking the other 2.

Told them that id be very pleased if the other two re appear, if not they will have to point their thieving buddy out to me!
