Time to get rid of this bunch of tw*ts I think.

We pay enough tax on petrol and everyone knows big engines guzzle more fuel:mad:

When you work out what taxes we pay in total it's infuriating to think we will still be asked to cough up more. Honestly i no longer think I'm paying to contribute to the running of the country but more like I'm buying a substantial part of it.

Maybe I should run for government myself........;)

I can't do any worse?

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

why dont they put tax higher rates on

new cars with big engines

so the fat cats who can afford such motors pay

it wont be long before we all have to buy a sinclair c5

or even go as low as nova!!!

Many of us also tax and insure a second car. So we can hardly drive both at the same time but we already paid for the road tax twice.

And while congrats are in order to Gordy becoming a dad. He can get stuffed if he thinks he can tap us for another £8billion for effin trains many of us dont/cant use!

Problem IF this goes ahead, is our car will now be unsellable. Who can afford £400 a year tax? I can afford it but I dont want to pay that much as it is too much for me.

:p :p :p

Its all a load of scare mongering *****cks, prob go up by a £10,no goverment in europe would risk it,not when they need votes come election time and they dont want to lose there comfy non productive lifestyle in parliment, and allso to add, read the link on global warming/greenhouse *****cks, when will the civilised world wake up and realise its the biggest ****ing bullshitting *****x ever to rear its head from these rip off ****ing amateurs that are all in cahoots to constantly fleece the mass's,total and uter ****in crap:D

Takes the p1ss really, we are already subsiding our so called "un-environmental" cars by paying for more high taxed fuel.

Be interesting to comare the emmissions of a twin catted 3.0 zx against say a classic 1.3 mini etc with no cats and pays no tax cos its so bloody old.

Ah well, who cares, it will make us look even more flash if it costs us a grand a year to tax our zeds!!!:D ;)

I think TonyC's theory is probably nearer the truth, but no government in Europe doing something so stupid?

Doesn't road tax in Ireland run into hundreds for some cars?

Anyway to make matters worse than a couple of hundred pounds extra road tax I heard something on Virgin Radio today about our dear pal Gordon thinking of slapping capital gains tax on profits made on regular house sales, the bas***d!

Still probably won't happen though (I hope)

Unsellable? I'll keep my Zed till the end!

I'll fight anyone for the last tank of Optimax on the planet - Mad Max stylee.

The last of the great V6's.;)

Well - will Tony Blair be also in a state owned Nova????

Vote them out - the tax thieving ba****!!!!

Geoffrey

I see Blaire has had a heart scare this weekend (apparently they found a heart, but I reckon they're lying! - they'll be telling us he's got a BRAIN next, and we know that's b0llox!)

Anyway, I wonder how long he was left waiting in a coridoor outside A&E before he was seen? Let's hope he has to go NHS all the way, then he could see what a pile of shit his government are. Then again, if he uses the NHS he'll probably be dead by the end of the week......here's hoping!:D

I'm sick of all the tax rises, you get a pay rise & you lose it plus more per year in multiple tax rises. It's quite unbelieveable just how many new forms of tax there are, they're quite relentless. The only tax they haven't increased is income tax & that's because they know people will notice that more & therefore they'll lose votes!

How is it that Council tax can go up by an average of 12% per year when inflation is only 3%. I mean, FFS I must pay 60% more CT than I did 4 years ago and yet my salary has only gone up by 15%.

The only thing I will say mind is that the country would be no better off under any other government. This country has been fooked and it's thanks to the last Tory government, Thatcher selling off all the countrys resources. For example the railway & now we're having to pay to buy the fooker back

It makes me laugh how everyone blames THIS government for the state of the country. Look at the state it was in when they were handed it! When the tories came in, VAT was 5%, when they left, it was 17.5% - then they sit there saying 'vote us in and we'll lower taxes'... yeah course you will... more likely you'll get in to power and fuck the country over even more to increase parliament 'club funds'

WHEN will people realise, also, that CO2 isn't exactly a major pollutant - plant more trees and it dissappears.... Oh hang on thats too easy isn't it... Lets just make more money from the dumb fucks in the country - ie drivers.

Blair's heart problem is potentially REAL bad news,

If he corks it, Prescott will be in charge!!!

Mind you pies will be cheaper coz he'll definately remove any tax on them:D

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
