You will really need some one near to you as, taking their PTU off will mean they dont have a working car for a while.

Have you done a ECU Diag?

Stuart

yeah done all the diagnostics, just gotting running again but now its not sparking on plug 1, tried swapping for a working plug and still the same. Its pissing me off now!

Try Vijay he may have an American upgraded one.

Two failed on me, ****ing annoying especially when you're stuck at Hanger Lane with a bus up your pipes!

i dont really want to buy one util i know thats it definetly that if you know what i mean! does anybody know how i can test if number 1 coil is receiving a signal? ie take the plug off and stick a meter between 2 pins?

If they keep failing then relocate the PTU! (They usually fail due to the heat) There's a write-up on the Auz forum about this, but you've have to search for it.

*SIGH* the saga continues!! ok NOW i got it running pretty good and took it for a test drive, first off it feels like the clutch is slipping, though its an AT! you put your foot down and it sometimes just revs upto 3-4k revs before it takes off:cry: next it sorta feels shit and a bit rough but it has been stood for nearly 2 years!

I have one for sale if you want it mate £95!

Hi Mark,

Is that a series 1 or 2?
