Hello im new!!

i currentley own a 2.2 vtec prelude and im thinking about getting a tt manual 300zx and have a few questions

basicly my main worries are that its going to cost a fortune if it goes wrong? are they very tempromental?

i just want the pros and cons too owning one and what the best one to go for is etc.

i should have about £4500 £5000 to spend

what years were they made? my prelude is a 95 face lift model with a few extras they others didnt have was there something like that on the 300zx?

cheers in advance for your help

just had a look through the photos on the forum some cars have round rear lights is that a modification or standard but diffrent year?

It's a mod

:D

Get one.

Take your time, make it a good one and spend time on taking care of it. It should gove yo no probs. Had mine for almost 2 years and the only reliability prob I have had is a broken battery.

It is vital though that you get a good one to start with. I was lucky, knowing nothing about Zeds and dropped onto a pearler. Not all are so fortunate. Get a good one, take care of it and you will be Zedding until the North Sea is dry.

Best of luck

Hi

Can back up what jenbstevieb said, if you do your research, look at several and don't buy with your heart you should be fine.

That is what I did and I netted a beauty, due to personal reasons however she has got to go though.

There are quite a few for sale at the moment, mine included, why don't you check out the For Sale forum on this site.

Cheers,

cool cheers guys im still unsure if i should sell the prelude now and get one or mod the prelude.

i have heard mixed stories about the z's

If you can afford to - keep the prelude as a respectable daily driver. Then buy the zed as a fun w/e car :D

Insurance will be cheaper on the zed, less mileage racked up, and hopefully less chance of high maintenance bills :)
