Hey all, me again,

Just a thought - if we get enough people together we can do a good deal on getting a skid course organized. The reason I suggest this is that not too long ago I found myself facing the wrong way on a roundabout after having spun 540 degrees. Wet weather and a slightly enthusiastic right foot contributed to this predicament. I am normally very capable of catching and correcting skids but the Z reacted completely different to what I expected. I reckon that the HICAS kicked in and was opposing everything I was doing to correct the problem. Let me know if you are interested in this kind of event and if we have enough interest I'll get busy on organizing something in the not too distant future.

Happy motoring!

Danny

Get TC mate, and I ain't talkin' about the cat with the waistcoat...LOL!

Danny - count me in for that!

I've never owned a RWD car before, the Z will be my first.. And I don't really want it to catch me out (too often) on the open road!

A few weeks ago we (a few dutch Z-ers) did a skid-course with our Z's and I can strongly recommend this.

Apart from the fact it's a great laugh, you also learn how to control your car in extreme situations.

I did a skid-course before (not in a Z), but I now know the Z doesn't react like anything else out there, because of the HICAS and the huge power at the rearwheels.

Once again...strongly recommended, whether you got TC or not.

Yeah, Eric is right I suppose...I'd be mad for it! Plus by the time I get my TC fitted on me car it might be the ideal opportunity to test it out and see if it was worth all them hard earned dollarZ!

First get your car back lol, then late next year you can have it fitted and try it out for trax 2003

Danny,

Count me in as well.

I think Fi will be up for it as well.

Jan..

I'm up for that.... providing it's not tooooo far for my location. M40 / Heathrow. What location are you looking at... (your local shopping center!)

I did try to organise a similar event last year, but lack of interest from the the guys and the skidpan was a tad low.

The other thing to note, some places can only have 1 car on the pan at one time, so if there is nothing else do to all the other peeps could be waiting around for several hours.

Hi Jez, guyz!

My apologies for not getting back to you on the skid course stuff. As many of you may be aware, I got booted out of the company on Monday and have had to deal with that this week.

BUT - not to worry. I will get some info this weekend and post it as soon as I can.

Again, my apologies.

Cheers!

Danny
