differential oil

What oil should I use for the differential ? Just the standard stuff that I can buy at Halfords will do. Is it normal 90w gearbox oil?

    ive just bought some for mine 75w / 90 castrol syntrax premium

     

    10 squid a litre.

    You have to get oil that is suitable for limited slip differentials, so normal gear box oil will not do.

     

    I don't think Halfords sell LSD oil from past experiences, but a specialist motor factor would. Demon Tweeks sell Redline fluids quite reasonbly.

    Just got some Castrol Differential EPX 80w-90, it meets API GL5

    so it should be ok I guess
