evening all, just wondering whats best.

I have had my jap 91 tt auto for about 9 months now and been slowley changing all the service bits (43,000) ie autobox fluid, fuel filter, air filter, tps, pipes, etc the list goes on and on. I have now got a code 34 (det sensor)? Its always been ok on super unleaded with the jap plugs in, but i changed to the uk ones anyway. without condeming the det sensor, is there anything i can try?

the car feels awfull when in saftey boost (real heavy and no edge)

thanks for any help??

Jim!

Mine's fine now, it was just the contacts on the cas plug.

Can you get at the det plug to remove it and give the contacts a gentle scrap with a miniature diamond file?

hi mate I got your call last friday night thanks!!

No i dont think you can get to it, i think its way down deep in the V between banks??

I may be wrong though?

do you have a nissan conzult simon?

JIM.:)

'fraid not. Have a lot of goodies but not that one.

I think that there is a way of making the system

ignore the signal from the det sensor.

If the sensor really have picked up

Did you gap all the plugs correctly?

Are they tightened correctly?

Firing order correct?

Could the timing have shifted?

Hello Jim,

Try cleaning up the det sensor connector contacts - worked for me :)

You need to sort the det sensor circuit as the system will

stop the engine from working properly.
