I guess that it's that grey thing held on with three

bolts at the front of the nearside bank.

 

Q is it ok to remove that to get at the connection

or better to remove the pipes above it and pull

the connector off with the cas in situ?

    If you remove it, make sure you score a mark on the CAS and the cambelt cover so you get it in the correct rotational position. I'd just remove the pipes if I were you though ;) Saying that, it IS possible to do with the pipes in situ ;)
