I need a four wheel alignment on my car, can i take this anywhere and get it done or does the four wheel steering mean i need a specialist, also apparently my camber angles are all wrong, would this be put right with the wheel alignment:confused:

Theres a place in market harborough that does 4 wheel alignment and caster/camber setup. let me know if u want the address..:cool:

rear camber is adjustable, front is not as standard.

 

if you need to adjust the front camber you will have to buy a spacer kit that fits behind the top arm, or replace the top arm with adjustable type ones

Yes the rears are adjustable as standard the fronts are not.

 

Incorrect cambre may be a result of slightly sagging springs.

Springs, bushings, etc.

 

Tell them to give the car a slight amount of "toe in" on the front.

I think the standard recomended values for a 300ZX asks for a little toe in.

Whilst I'm in the mood for typing, I thought some of you might want to know that I had mine 4 wheel aligned last Saturday at the 4 Wheel alignment centre in Nottingham. They have the contract for the local Bishi', Porsche, Volvo and Nissan dealers. In fact, he said that he had done a new 350Z during the week because it had been in a bump...............already.

 

Anyway, I cant thing of the address for anyone that is interested but if you do a search for "wheel alignment" you should find that I have posted all the details.

 

By the way, the back end doesn't skip now.

 

Oh yeah - Only 36 quid too. That's inclusive of any adjustments needed too. Not bad hey. However, beware! He only takes cash or cheque, as I find out and had to go for a walk to the local Tescos.

I haven`t taken my zed there but they did my carlton gsi some time back. There a bodyshop and they do many top motors.
