i know there is loads of discussions on here about this subject.

but can any body tell me about there own experience of this

method of boost increase.

(good or bad)

been using them for over a year now - no probs at all :)

 

it does drop a little on full boost though, mine will boost to 16psi on full throttle, then will slowly drop to around 14psi. which is nice really, you get a nice overboost for flooring it then drops down a little.

 

got to be worth the dancing banana :dance: :D

I put in new ecu & tips, the, it run like a piece of shit, so took out new ecu & put old 1 back, tips did not make any diffrence in or out.

now just trying to find out what to do next!

couldnt get any biger than one mm

i am using 1mm

 

tried 1.2mm ones 1st - that gave around 12psi of boost

just fitted took about 20mins

what a differnce, f@@@ing thing nearly wheelies

Have you got a modified ecu? as with my standard ecu it dont feel any faster??

Are you getting detonation and what boost does your gauge say you're running (you have got an aftermarket gauge right?)

no i have a standard ecu

i havnt got an after market boost gauge yet

tried to get one this afternoon with no luck

took car up road once, now parked it up until

i cheak bost level

it went of the standard gauge,

but it nearly ran on max anyway.

not going any where in it until i check

should be quite noticable, even with a stock ecu. its just safer with an aftermarket chip

No i have not done ecu error check, is it easy??

Is it risky running it without modified ecu??

just done it with 1.2 tips 20mins thats with a brew and one cut hands.just give it a run down the east lancs very nice
