Does anyone knows how can I get the code # for the purple metallic colour that was released in Japan starting in 1997? I had a friend who brought a brochure in japanese of the fairlady 300zx and it had this colour wich is beautiful! is it possibly that if I go to Nissan dealer and ask them to re-spray with this particular colour they could special order the paint from Nissan in japan??

what estimated price would all this cost???

would appreciate all your info on this matter,

Thanx guys! gals!!:)

Anyone who has a Zed in that colour can find the

number on the car.

If no-one here, try US and Au Zed sites.

Cost will depend on quality and whether you change the

bay too. That will need the engine out!

In UK, in the range £1000 - £3000

Colour change will always be more expensive.

Might make more sense to find one already in that colour!

I changed mine to Bayside Blue which is the colour on the R34 Skylines. SE Nissan did it for me and they said the paint alone was £1+K.

Re-spray cost £2.7k - not including the engine bay which would have been another £1k.

Talk to peter in the traders forum under PPS, im sure he will know and also quote you a good price.

Go to Homebase, they reckon they can match anything up!!
