New Carpet?

Just in the process of replacing the heater matrix at the moment on my manual, (what a twat of a job!) Anyway, the carpets pretty damp and stinking of coolant. Could just give it a clean but I thought it could be an opertunity to fit a new one... Has anyone attemted, and succesfully cut a carpet to fit. I guess this would be tricky beacause of the shape, or know of where I could by a Pre- shaped one. Am after a cream colour.
